We caught up with Software Resources CEO, Tamara "Tammy" Giaimo recently to find out more about her company and their connection to WBENC. For 20 years, Software Resources has been providing staffing solutions to its clients nationally. Software Resources focuses on providing contract, contract-to-perm, and permanent search services in the areas of Technology, Creative and Web, HR, and Finance and Accounting Systems. Under the leadership of CEO Tamara L. Giaimo, known as Tammy, Software Resources has distinguished itself by swiftly and successfully addressing its clients’ contingent staffing requirements with flexible, customer-centric solutions.
Software Resources strategic approach helps clients achieve greater cost savings, better control of their projects, and more consistent processes and outcomes.
Mrs. Giaimo and her team have worked tirelessly to develop processes and procedures to identify, recruit, place and retain world-class Programmer Analysts, Application Developers, Business Analysts, Technical Editors and Writers, Infrastructure Support and Systems Administration professionals, QA/Testers, and Project Managers. Software Resources consultants are recognized time and again as Subject Matter Experts by their peers and within their professional communities. The organization brings that expertise to the table for clients across multiple verticals and geographical territories. Software Resources’ tightly constructed recruiting methodology paired with a state of the art applicant tracking and CRM system has proven to be a winning formula. Tammy’s core belief is that people should be empowered to act in the best interest of the candidate and client in every interaction and maintains a relatively flat organizational structure to facilitate swift and precise decision making.
Giaimo says that some of the company’s most satisfying “wins” came when they stretched to meet a client’s need outside Software Resources traditional suite of services.
This occurred relatively early in the company’s life when it had the opportunity to create a contract management system for a leading media and entertainment company. By recruiting the best talent for the job and managing it meticulously, Software Resources was able to deliver on time and within budget. “We were immediately given the opportunity to provide technology contract staffing services to the company which we continue to do today on a national scale,” Giaimo says.
More recently, Software Resources expanded its services by offering payrolling and back-office support to a long-time corporate partner. Giaimo increased Software Resources’ credit lines, hired additional support staff, and created a parallel business service for the customer. The result is that – in addition to the large volume of Professional Staffing with this client, Software Resources has added a high-volume of payroll, or leased employees that have helped them meet aggressive national hiring targets.
During a career spanning 24 years, Tammy has been deservedly recognized for her many achievements. She received numerous awards and accolades for providing clients with exemplary service. Tammy has served on the Board of Directors and has been the CEO since 1992.
Today, Software Resources serves the staffing needs of its clients nationally. They have consultants in 13 states and utilize a CRC (Central Recruiting Center) model administered from its corporate office in Lake Mary, Florida.
We hope you'll join them at this year's 2012 WBENC National Conference and Business Fair at The Orlando Covention Center. If you can't make it then check them out http://www.softwareresources.com to learn more about how they might help you and your organization!
